Library Services
Introduction
This guide gathers in one place all of the library services and resources available to students who are taking online or hybrid courses at MCC.
There are many resources that online students can use from home. This guide goes over finding and accessing from home books, ebooks, and articles. Included is information on how to evaluate and cite the sources you find.
It also goes over using our Research Guides. These guides cover a wide variety of topics ranging from how to cite in MLA or APA to how to select a topic to how to find sources in specific subjects.
Throughout the guide are tips using databases, using books and reference books, and more. There are several tutorials on what is a database, research tips and techniques, and others. And there are some helpful links on the technology you might use as an online student.
Use the tabs above to navigate the guide.
