Choosing a good research topic is the first step to research success. Here are a few tips to help you get started in choosing a research topic for your honors project.
1. Brainstorm for ideas
Look over the list of broad health problem/issue topics provided by your instructor. You can choose a topic from this list or propose something new you may want to research. Here are a few questions to get you thinking:
Be sure to talk your topic through with your instructor or a librarian. The most important thing is to choose a research topic that you want to research!
Once you've chosen your topic, the next step is to educate yourself on the health problem/issue you plan to research by collecting background information.
