Below are some popular resources to help you get started.

Using Respondus Lockdown Browser to take tests.

If a student needs to take a test using the Respondus Lockdown Browser on a Chromebook checked out from the MCC Library, the computer needs to be put in Kiosk mode.  Luckily Library staff can do this remotely with a few simple steps.

  • Student sends an email to that includes:
    • date and time they wish to take the test;
    • 6-digit tag number on the bottom of the computer.
  • When the machine asks for the student's institution, they need to type Maricopa Community Colleges.
  • When done taking the test, student emails again so Kiosk mode can be turned off and the student can go back to using the computer like normal.

The webcam feature is not supported on the HP Chromebooks.
