Library Services & Resources for Faculty

This guide describes what services and resources are available to faculty, whether they are teaching face-to-face, hybrid, or online classes.

Databases & eArticles

The Library currently subscribes to 53 periodical databases, including both multidisciplinary and subject specific databases. The vast majority of the materials within the databases are full-text articles that you can print, save, email, or download.

All of our databases are available for for faculty and students to access from off campus. You must log in with your MEID and password.

The databases are located on the Library's eResources page at

For a list of databases recommended for your field, see the appropriate Research Guide or contact your liaison librarian.

Periodicals & ePeriodicals

The library subscribes to thousands of electronic journals that can be accessed remotely. While you can use a periodical database to find citations, abstracts, and often the full text of articles, you may also want to look at our e-journals list to see what online journals we have that are related to your field.

To see if we have a periodical in print, search the Library Catalog by "periodical title." This will tell you if we have it in print and what years we have.
