Are You Registered?
Make sure you are registered to vote!
Even if you registered to vote, you may still want to check your registration online before an election to make sure it is current and that you are listed as ACTIVE.
Use the Registration Information search tool found on the Arizona Secretary of State website to make sure your status is listed as ACTIVE. You can also make sure that your name, home address, and political party are correct. This tool also allows you to check your voting history and view every election in which you have cast a ballot.
If the information listed is not correct, contact the Secretary of State (602-542-8683) and/or the Maricopa County Recorder (602-506-3535).
If your status is not listed as ACTIVE:

How Do You Vote?
There are three ways that you can vote in the state of Arizona:
- In Person - Find your polling location to vote on Election Day by using this tool. Polling locations are usually open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Check to make sure that you have the proper identification needed in order to vote.
- In Person Early Voting - In Arizona, it is possible to cast your ballot before Election Day. In-person early voting is available beginning 27 days before every Election Day and lasts until Friday, November 2nd at 5 p.m. Check to verify your Early Voter Registration status here.
- By Mail - Request your ballot be sent to you in the mail. Arizona has a Permanent Early Voting List (PEVL) that allows voters to receive a ballot in the mail for every election they are qualified to vote in. Find out more information here.
Absentee and Out-Of-State Voters
Absentee voting allows you to vote by mail. There are certain rules and processes that each state follows as to who can participate.
If you know that you qualify to receive an absentee ballot, you can request to have it sent to you by mail.

Did Your Vote Count?
Check the status of your Early Voting Ballot if you live in Maricopa County and have already mailed in or dropped off your ballot.
Forgot to mail in your ballot? No problem! You can drop it off at any early-voting location.
If you live in Maricopa County, you can also sign up to receive text messages that will notify you of when your ballot is received and verified by texting "Join" to 628-683. This service is offered by the Maricopa County Recorder's office.
