We are here to support you as a student at MCC whether you’re taking one course or a full load of courses. This guide is here to help you get to know your library and all the services and resources available to you! The MCC Libraries each offer study rooms for student use. The Southern & Dobson Library has 21 study rooms and the Red Mountain Library has 6 study rooms. Study rooms must be reserved through our Thunderdibs reservation system.
Both of the MCC Libraries provide a variety of spaces including outdoor patios, soft seating, computing, larger tables and chairs for group work, and more. Come on in and make yourself at home!
Course r
eserves are housed at the circulation/check out desks at both of the MCC Libraries. This collection includes a variety of items placed on reserve by your instructor which may include supplemental reading, media, anatomical models, and textbooks. The MCC Libraries do not have every course textbook available in our collections, but we do have many of the textbooks used in core courses including math, biology, chemistry, psychology, and more.
Please ask at one of the library service desks and we can check if your textbook is on reserve in the library. Most course reserves are only available for in library use for 2-3 hours.

Need to charge your phone or did you forget your headphones? The library provides a variety of chargers for apple and android products and disposable headphones and ear plugs. We also provide a variety of school and office supplies so please ask at a service desk for help.
